In early 2025 Splendonor shipped 28 donated laptop computers to a girl's high school near Wau, South Sudan. Less than 12% of high school students in Sub-Saharan Africa have access to computers. Knowing the importance of acquiring basic computer skills but lacking any actual computers, many African schools resort to teaching "computer class" that consists only of reviewing books that describe computer operations or practicing keyboard typing on cardboard mock-ups of keyboards. This girl's high school in Wau taught students in that format before the Splendonor laptops were provided.
