Educational Projects
The combination of extreme poverty, the world's lowest literacy rates, and the world's highest population growth make the sponsorship of sustainable new schools in Africa the most critical humanitarian campaign in the world today. One of Splendonor’s primary missions is to identify and fund the construction of schools in underserved areas of sub-Sahara Africa.
New Addition to Elementary School in Cameroon
A French-speaking primary school in New Melong, Cameroon is in the planning stages of constructing a new two-story school building within the larger school campus. This new building will contain six classrooms, a library, a computer center, a nurse station, faculty offices and restrooms. The school addition is needed due to the large number of recent English-speaking refugee families that have arrived in the area from civil unrest elsewhere in central Africa. When completed, the new classrooms will be staffed by English speaking teachers to accommodate the needs of the new influx of students.

Computers for Schools in Africa
For $800, Splendonor can purchase, package, and deliver one or more durable laptop computers to a boys or girls secondary school in rural areas of Sub-Saharan Africa. Splendonor has identified several needy schools that currently do not have any computers, and are limited to textbooks to teach their students computer word processing skills. These laptop computers could open career opportunities to eager young men and women.
